Move it or lose it was founded by Julie Robinson in 2010 to help keep people active and independent as they age. Following an invitation by Professor Janet Lord, Director of The Centre for Healthy Ageing Research, Julie became a collaborating partner, assisting with the development of practical solutions to improve levels of physical activity in older people. You can therefore rest assured all of our products and training are of high quality and supported by experts in healthy ageing.

As a result of years of collaboration with experts, Move It or Lose It! designed the FABS Training Programme. Each FABS class covers Flexibility, Aerobic, Balance and Strength providing the four vital components of older adult fitness as per CMO guidelines. This is made up of exercises that are safe, enjoyable, effective and accessible to everyone whatever their ability, and can be done seated or standing. FABS classes ensure age or ability are no longer barriers to an active lifestyle.
